Back / Mufasa

Background

Born from the red earth of Zambia, Mufasa is the result of a singular moment in time. Sculpted during an art safari, this piece began as raw clay in the heart of the bush, shaped by the direct observation of the wild lions that roam the region.

Now cast in enduring bronze, Mufasa captures the quiet, commanding presence of a king at rest. This sculpture is more than a likeness; it is a tribute to the regal dignity and raw power of the African lion, carrying with it the spirit of the Zambian wilderness where it was first conceived.
